Memory: Idiot! Don't raise your head! (page 14-16)
Game: Day 5

Summary: Flashback to Livio being maybe like... 10 years old? Anyway, it's at the orphanage when we see a girl named Jasmine crying and clinging to a ledge sticking off the church (wow who's great idea what that?) as she tries to reach her puppy, who is sitting there on the ledge looking terrified. The other kids and matron have gathered down below, gaping while Wolfwood (also a kid here) has climbed onto the roof to get her down. He shouts at her not to look down, which prompts her to raise her head. He shouts at her about this just as she loses her grip and falls. Everyone screams and panics, only for Livio to slide in like he's running for home. He catches her just as she's about to hit the ground and they both lay there, stunned, only for Jasmine to burst into tears.

What it does:
- This is the first time Livio says he had feelings of caring for someone else and wanting to protect them. He's gonna associate them as being really important and a strong part of who he is.

- As a result, he's gonna put effort into protecting and caring for his teammates and others.

- Hopefully this will lead to less tears.

- Wolfwood's first appearance!! They have known each other for a long time??

Memory: Where are you aiming, Nicholas? (page 15-21)
Game: Day 3???

Summary: Scene opens with some military guys having a conversation about the Ark, which is currently wrecking havoc over the planet. They're planning to shoot it down when they see three figures in the distance; Livio, Wolfwood and Chapel. The army corps fire first, and Wolfwood responds in kind, using his rocket launcher - injuring, but not killing anyone. Chapel openly laughs and mocks him, telling him he's supposed to aim to kill and Wolfwood glares in response. Chapel goads Wolfwood some more, saying he's just like them (Livio and Chapel), tells him to stop wasting time and that he can't just stop being a murderer when it's convenient for him.

He also mentions the Eye of Michael, which triggers Livio to go running into the middle of the militia and start shooting. Wolfwood pulls out his gun and holds it to Chapel's head, ordering him to tell Livio to stop. Unfortunately, everyone is already dead. Chapel points this out much to Wolfwood's distress and Livio's apparent apathy, then says they were basically doing these guys a favor.

What it does:
- First memory of Livio's not so clean past! He's going to try to rationalize his being there and what was happening since he's got no context for the situation.

- Eventually he will realize there is no rationalizing this, he basically committed murder for absolutely no reason other than he was told to.

- Mixed feelings. He won't want this to happen again, but during day 5 he definitely thought about selling another team up the river.

- This introduces Chapel, arguably one of the strongest influences on Livio's life. Right now his impression of him is... Not good.

- Weird feelings on Wolfwood. I'll go into that later, I guess. P:

- FIRST MENTION OF THE EYE OF MICHAEL.
